Rachel Van Blankenship (age 8)

He is gone
so he is where I left him
There under dirt and in some cloth
I am lonely and so sad
I am crying at my bed
Lots of toys and lots of things
but nothing is so very neat.
Sunny and rainy days
nothing is just the same
Nice and mean
mean and nice
I loved him so very much
Over hills and through the woods
I still feel it's no good.
I have a so cute one too
on the table just for you.

Cristi Cain

This was before I had actually shot any models, or actually put too much thought into it. I was interested in photography, but wasn't quite sure how I wanted to pursue it. I went walking on the strand to take some candids and just shoot around.

I saw this guy, and the way he was looking… it was just perfect. There were tons of people on the strand that day so it wasnt a clean shot, but I definitely saw it. I got home and cropped it out knowing how it was going to look when I got thru. That, they told me, is an eye. I have been shooting ever since.

Ray Succre (age 11)

My love for her was a lonely
Prisoner condemned within my soul.
She was a small hope amid the
Dark porcelain sky.
I love her, with my soul to back

I had been waiting all day, as a
Beach waits for the tide to take it out
To sea, for my love, for my dearest
Sight, for my star, Erotica.
She is just. A light. She paints my
Silhouette across the roof.
As I leave, my star winks and
Disappears as daylight lifts its
Darkened cloak.

I shall be waiting for you
Tomorrow my lovely star.
